MBR Board Members Helping in Our Community

On December 4th, Media Babe Ruth Board Members, John Logue, James Logue, Mike Simone, and Dan Lanni closed down the snack bar for the winter. There was an abundance of food and drinks left over, much of which would have expired prior to the Spring season.

They had an opportunity to donate the items to the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County. The Domestic Abuse Project were happy to take everything that was donated, along with a few tee shirts, to help stock their safe house, which hosts victims of domestic violence. The victims are often displaced in the middle of the night with their small children and nothing but the clothes on their backs. They very appreciative of the donated items which were much needed.
